- Fabric: What materials is the Airloft Hooded Jacket made from?
The Jacket exterior fabric is 100% Primeflex™ 50d 102 gsm Polyester. It is an ultra durable and lightweight polyester with 4-way stretch. The breathable woven structure allows for breathability and temperature regulation and the weatherproof treatment helps evaporate sweat while protecting you from the elements.
The jacket fill is a 40g Toray 3DeFX+® active Insulation. 3DeFx+ uses four types of coil shaped spiraling yarns that make it different from all other insulations on the market. The yarns mesh to create a unique insulation that has no fiber migrations and does not require quilting to stay in place. The coil structure allows the insulation to stretch with the body and highloft hollow-core fibers trap air for maximum heat without weight. This unique insulation is water resistant so it can keep you warm even when wet.

Fibers with different spiral structures allow flexible three-dimensional movement compared to other natural or synthetic fabrics with a uniform structure.
This comparison shows stretch ratios for outstretched and folded arms for both the bare body and when wearing 3DeFX+™-and the results are identical. The inherent stretch of 3DeFX+™ easily contours to the body’s natural positions and movements, providing comfortable fit and wearability.
In this comparison of clothing pressure, when arms are folded (air-packed method), 3DeFX+™ registers less than 1 kpa, or approximately one-third the clothing pressure of a conventional outdoor garment, which results in superior comfort and freedom of movement.

The biggest advantage of 3DeFX+™ is its stretch and minimal fiber migration. Because the insulation material stays inside, it is not necessary to use high-density or down proof fabric or quilting on the outside. Instead, highly breathable stretch fabric can be used.
The AirLoft jacket pairs 3DeFx+ with a premium four way stretch woven exterior to keep you warm without getting stuffy.
The AirLoft jacket controls the temperature and humidity level on the inside of the jacket so you stay comfortable during exercise and quickly returns to normal afterward.

There is a hidden shock cord sewn into the edge of the hood opening. The chord passes through eyelets to the base of the hood.
The hood can be tightened or loosen the hood opening by pulling the ends of the chord and securing with a single push chord lock.

A hidden shock chord is sewn into the hem of the jacket. The wearer’s left has a grosgrain anchor chordlock to secure the chord. The shock cord has a grosgrain loop to prevent it from coming through the chordlock.

Generally, you will want to go with the size that you normally wear in for jackets.

The Airloft Hooded Jacket will be available in sizes Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large and XXL.
Due to minimum order quantity by size requirements from our factory we will not be able to offer any additional sizes at this time.

- Sizing: What if my Airloft Hooded Jacket doesn’t fit right?
No worries! If this project is funded, we will be producing additional sizes for exchanges and we will be accepting exchanges in the USA up to 60 days after you receive the product. Product will need to be in like-new condition with tags still on for us to make an exchange.

The Airloft Hooded Jacket is designed with men in mind. We will not be offering a women’s specific designs for this campaign but many women find that by ordering a smaller size, they get a good fit in the Airloft Hooded Jacket

It depends on when you back.
VIP rewards will ship in January 2021; all other rewards will ship in April of 2021. Any add-on items added to your cart when the campaign closes will ship with your jackets.

We will be shipping your product with tracked methods through USPS, UPS, FedEx or through your local carrier, depending on your location. Tracking will be provided once your order ships.

All of our rewards will ship from our warehouse in Louisville, KY. Unfortunately, we are not able to fulfill rewards in person at our Telluride store or our warehouse.

- Shipping: What is the return policy for these jackets?
We offer free domestic exchanges if you need a different size.
Returns will be given the pledge amount in store credit to the Western Rise store (https://westernrise.com). No cash refunds will be given once the campaign ends.
All international pledges are final, once the campaign ends.

International shipping will be a flat $25 for all shipments outside of the US. Please note that this shipping fee does not include duties/taxes that may be leveraged by your country or origin.

Unfortunately, due to the high cost and logistical difficulties of exchanging or returning items internationally, all international sales are final.

- Care: How should I wash my jacket?
The water resistance in this piece allows it to absorb less odor and staining than a standard shirt jacket. Thus, the AirLoft can and should be washed less frequently.
When necessary wash with like colors with mild detergent cold. Line dry.
Do not use bleach or fabric softener as these will damage coloring and water resistance.
Over time the water resistance may appear to wear down. Reactivated with a quick tumble in the dryer on low or by applying a tech wash.
Avoid oils and grease as they will permanently damage the water repellent treatment and possibly stain the piece.

- Care: Will the shirt shrink or stretch out?
While the Airlfoft Jacket fabric does have stretch to it, it will not permanently shrink with washing or stretch out with wear.

- Lifetime Warranty: Do you have one?
Yes! If your item has a manufacturing defect in its materials or workmanship, you can return it at any time for repair or replacement.
Western Rise’s warranty doesn’t cover ordinary wear and tear or damage caused by improper use or accidents but we are happy to work with you getting a repair or replacement on a case-by-case basis.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
